Best Literary Translation Contest

We are pleased to invite students and high school pupils to participate in the contest for the best literary translation.

We are pleased to invite students of Ukrainian and foreign higher educational institutions, as well as high school pupils to participate in the contest for the best literary translation.

Contest organizer: Department of English Translation Theory and Practice of the School of Foreign Languages of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

The contest is held in two nominations for students, and two nominations for graders.

For students:

— Prose piece (task, PDF, 212 Kb).

— Poetry piece (task, PDF, 84,8 Kb).

For graders:

— Prose piece (task, PDF, 202 Kb).

— Poetry piece (task, PDF, 85,2 Kb).

To participate, you are to fill out the application form till January 15, 2016, and e-mail it to: transengl@karazin.ua. Indicate the word Contest in the subject line of the email.

Translation language: Ukrainian, for foreign citizens — Russian.

Materials submission deadline: February 15, 2016.

Translations are to be sent to: transengl@karazin. ua.
